De Walterscheid aftakas W400E heeft een lengte van 560 mm en is gemaakt voor een betrouwbare krachtoverdracht tussen trekker en werktuig. Beide zijden hebben een 1 3/8", 6-spline profiel met een trekvergrendeling aan elke kant. De buis heeft een citroenprofiel en het kruisstuk meet 32 x 76 mm. De aftakas is voorzien van een SD 25 afscherming voor veilig gebruik. De maximale snelheid is 540 omw/min en het vermogen is 39 kW bij die snelheid. De sluiting is AZG/ASGE. De as wordt geleverd met een duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzing voor juist onderhoud en montage.
