De Walterscheid Aftakas WWE 2480 is gemaakt voor zwaar werk bij 1000 omw/min en een vermogen tot 83 pk. De aftakas heeft een citroenprofiel en een dubbelgaffel aan de werktuigzijde. De trekkerzijde is zonder aansluitgaffel, wat montage flexibel maakt. De kruisgrootte is 32 x 76 mm, de lengte 860 mm. Deze aftakas heeft een degelijke SDF 25 afscherming en gebruikt een ZK/DOPG-sluiting. Het sluitsysteem is zonder pen, wat eenvoudig onderhoud mogelijk maakt. De as levert een koppel van 580 Nm bij 1000 omw/min. Gebruiksaanwijzing is inbegrepen voor veilig en juist gebruik.
