Deze Walterscheid aftakas PW580 heeft een lengte van 1210 mm en is gemaakt voor hoge belasting. De as heeft een sterprofiel met trek- en automatische treksluiting. De trekkerzijde heeft een 1 3/8" aansluiting met 6 splines en de werktuigzijde een 1 3/8" aansluiting met 21 splines. De breekboutkoppeling beschermt de aandrijving bij te grote kracht. Het draaimoment is 2920 Nm bij 540 omw/min. De kruizen hebben maten van 36 x 89 mm. De afscherming is type SPGF25. De aftakas wordt geleverd met gebruiksaanwijzing en is geschikt voor groothoektoepassingen.
