Deze Walterscheid aftakas PW580 heeft een lengte van 1210 mm en een sterprofiel. De breekboutkoppeling beschermt de aandrijving bij te hoge belasting. Het draaimoment is 2920 Nm en de aftakas is geschikt voor 540 omw/min. De as heeft een trek- en automatische treksluiting met profielbuissparing S4GA/S5 en afscherming type SPGF25. Beide zijden hebben 1 3/4" aansluitingen met 20 en 6 spline. Kruisgrootte A is 36 x 89 x 32 x 106 mm en kruisgrootte B is 36 x 88,8 mm. De gebruiksaanwijzing wordt meegeleverd voor veilige montage en onderhoud.
