Deze Walterscheid aftakas PW480 is geschikt voor zware toepassingen. De as heeft een lengte van 1210 mm en een maximaal draaimoment van 2500 Nm bij 540 omw/min. De breekboutkoppeling beschermt de aandrijving tegen overbelasting. De aftakas heeft een citroenprofiel met trek- en automatische treksluiting. Kruisgrootte aanzijde A is 32 x 76 x 27 x 94 mm, aanzijde B 32 x 76 mm. De aansluiting is 1 3/4" met 20 spline aan zijde A en 1 3/8" met 6 spline aan zijde B. De as is uitgerust met PG 20 afscherming en wordt geleverd met gebruiksaanwijzing.
