De Walterscheid Aftakas PW580 met een lengte van 1410 mm is gemaakt voor zware werktuigen zoals grootpakpersen en opraapwagens. Deze aftakas heeft een draaimoment van 2100 Nm en een nokkenschakelkoppeling die de aandrijving beschermt bij overbelasting. De aansluiting aan trekkerzijde is 1 3/8” met 6 splines en aan werktuigzijde 1 3/4” met 6 splines. De as heeft een sterprofiel met profielbuissparing S4GA/S5 en afscherming SPGF25Z. De groothoek is eenzijdig en het sluitsysteem bestaat uit een klembout met automatische treksluiting. Geschikt voor toerentallen tot 1000 omw/min.
