De Walterscheid aftakas W2400 heeft een lengte van 1010 mm en is voorzien van een vrijloopkoppeling F5/1R, rechtsdraaiend. Deze aftakas heeft aan beide zijden een 1 3/8" aansluiting met 6 spline. Het profiel is citroenvormig met een buissparing van 1b/2a en een SD25 afscherming. De kruisgrootte aan beide zijden is 32 x 76 mm. De aftakas heeft een treksluiting, geschikt voor maximaal 1000 omw/min en een vermogensoverdracht tot 61 pk bij 1000 omw/min of 39 kW bij 540 omw/min. Betrouwbare werking tussen trekker en werktuig, zelfs bij zware belasting.
